can we use miswak or unperfumed tooth paste,cream,lotion, patrolium jelly during haj days.

Praise be to Allaah.

If these things are free of perfume then it is not forbidden to use them, because what is forbidden in ihraam is perfume or using anything in which there is perfume.

Ibn Qudaamah said, discussing the things that are forbidden in ihraam: … putting perfume on one's skin or clothes (or any cream etc. containing perfume)… because this is not permitted, because it will cling to him and its fragrance will remain.
